Elisa Palmer (a ninth generation Californian) was born in Santa Barbara, Ca in 1982.
Her father Michael and mother Pamalee married and had three boys and two girls. Her
family moved to Atascadero, California when Elisa was six years old. Elisa lives in Flagstaff,
Arizona with her husband Daniel and two children. She has been blessed with a big wonderful
family who she is very proud. She has many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins etc.
that she is very grateful for. She is here to continue spreading Gods LOVE!!!
In this episode we talk about her documented (NDE) and how it changed her and prepared her to face losing her beloved father. Elisa's story was documented in Dr.Jeffrey Long's book Evidence of the Afterlife based upon his interviews with thousands of people who have experienced NDE'S. In my grieving process her story was so helpful to me, and I hope it is for you all as well. As always sending you all love and light ️

I can't wait for you all to hear Jay Deutsch story of healing and teaching us about self love & mindset. Jay writes: I am a solo dad of two and a self-love and mindset coach. My kids and I lost their mom to suicide in June of 2015. They were 3 & 13 at the time and we were together for 26 years.
My kids and I were stricken with grief but we chose to get though this. After many years of hard work we can proudly say that we are happy and love life.
Healing from this kind of loss was not easy for us. Not easy at all. But we did. It was a choice that we made and a choice that you can make too.

Wonderful conversation with fellow bereaved mother and grief author Kelli Nielsen! I love when God aligns me with women who after an interview ask May I pray with you? Yes, ma'am you can! Kelli didn’t grow up with visions of becoming the founder of a grief coaching company, but life had other plans. After losing her mother to suicide in 2017 she found herself swept out in a sea of grief. Barely able to get through the days she looked for help and was discouraged when she didn’t find the support or tools to recover.
Thankfully an encounter with an inspiring speaker showed her that healing was available to her. She decided then and there to dedicate herself to recovering from grief. She studied, prayed, documented her process, and began to recover. Her recovery came not a moment too soon as just a year later her 20-year-old son Quintin died of an accidental drug overdose.
Kelli has since become a speaker, author, and coach. Her book, You’re Not Crazy, You’re Grieving, shares the process she used to heal from her tremendous losses. She also founded Grace For Living After Loss, a company focused on training churches and coaches to help people learn to move forward on purpose, in purpose and love their lives after loss.

"Signs" I sat down with nine bereaved parents who talk about their personal experience and the signs they get from their children! Loved ones may communicate with them in a variety of ways, including:
Scent:
The ability to smell your loved one or spirit is called clairscent. This could include the scent of perfume, flowers, cigar smoke, or cooking. For example, if you smell smoke when no one else is smoking, it could be a sign that your late uncle is around.
Feathers:
Feathers are often considered a symbol of remembrance, and some say they appear when loved ones are near.
Repeating numbers:
Seeing repeating number patterns, especially on clocks, could be a sign that a deceased loved one is communicating with you. Common patterns include 111, 222, 333, or 444.
Sensing:
This could be a feeling or intuitive knowing that a loved one is near. It could also include hearing their voice or catching a glimpse of them, which are known as bereavement or grief hallucinations. Some experts consider these hallucinations to be a common part of the grieving process.
Other signs:
Other signs that a loved one that has passed on may be around include strange phenomena, dreams, feeling a touch, or strange electrical activities! Thank you to everyone that participated! Source: Podbean Search: Sunset Stories

On this episode of Sunset Stories I really enjoyed my time with the beautiful and brilliant Julia Pearce She is a bereaved mother, Certified Grief Educator and a bestselling author in eight yes eight categories on Amazon! She is a fascinating woman, and we are so grateful to be able to share her book The boy who became more than we could ever imagine and her son Dallin’s AMAZING story! Julia writes: Music enthralled Dallin’s life. It was ingrained in every fiber of his being. When he was merely weeks old, music was his way of connecting. As an infant, it calmed him when the music mobile above his bed was played after a busy day. When there was too much noise, and he was tired of being passed around like a little sack of potatoes, it soothed him in an instant. Music brought him joy and made him move to the rhythm. When music was playing in one part of the house, it would bring him from another with a huge smile, clapping hands, and little boy grooves. In the car, he would tap his toes and bop his head to the beat. In 2013 music changed for me, and it ended for Dallin. I could not listen to music again for years. It brought tears to my eyes, and they rolled down my cheeks. It took three years to hear music the way I did before with him and another year to play it aloud, celebrating the toe-tapping wonder of the boy who became more than we could have imagined. The next two years brought these memories back like notes flowing over a soul in need of free movement and dance. The rhythm of Dallin’s story danced in my head like a steady stream of lyrics that needed to be sung. At times, the titles of songs came as I was driving, and I needed to pull over to find a notepad to write it down immediately. On other days, the song would be there all day long. I would find myself humming the song or drumming my pen to the beat as I worked. Suddenly, I would realize that I needed to write down not only the title of the song but also the story that had come to me about the experiences that went with it.

Our next guest spent part of her birthday with me a lady from New York and a Texas gal admiring each other's accents and me, in awe just how much Christine Clayton showed how BIG a mother's love truly is! This is the story and fight of Nicole in her mother's words in our next episode "Our Journey Goes On"
On September 30, 2021, my beautiful daughter Nicole aka Nikki to many others, lost her last battle with end stage renal failure due to Juvenile Diabetes. She is forever 41. She battled Juvenile Diabetes since the age of nine. Nicole was not just a daughter. She was a cousin, a niece, a friend and mostly a loving Mom, she not just loved her daughter Kayla, she adored her!!!
Nicole was silly, funny, loved music, loved to dance, and had the best laughter even at herself. She had the brightest
blue eyes that would sometimes turn the lightest gray. Just stunning! She loved to embarrass me intentionally. And I gladly reciprocated She was a sensitive, compassionate giving
person and at times stubborn. Nicole loved her family fiercely and we loved her just the same. In March 2019 she had started to get extremely sick and was told she needed TWO organ
transplants, a kidney, and a pancreas. Immediately I said I would donate my kidney. I was not a direct match, so I went into the Kidney swap program for her. Unfortunately, at that
time many things were happening. Covid hit, elective surgeries were put on hold, dialysis started to take its toll on her and her health continued to fail.
She kept fighting to the very end.
That was who my girl was.
After her passing and mourning her, I decided to continue our journey, knowing all too well who she was would fully support my decision. So, back to the kidney swap program I went.
On May 9, 2023, I donated my kidney in her honor. Fulfilling the journey we started. Because of her many lives were saved. Because of her many families will never go through what my family had to endure. Now, her legacy lives on & on .....
